He rented an office with no washing machines, hired no staff, and kept a calendar full of fake appointments. He filed fake invoices, reported phantom expenses, and claimed everything was legitimate.

The white collar era started the day Joe understood that paperwork hides everything. He set up a delivery hotline at “1-800-WASHING-TON” and the government never checked. He reported taxes on non-existent clothes and claimed fabric softener as a business expense. The funny laundry bag that anyone buys after they realize their business only exists on paper. Joe does not hide the evidence, he puts it on a rinse and calls it revenue.
