Closed the laptop, picked up his jacket, and walked out of the building without telling anyone, one month late on the best April Fool he had ever pulled. The anti work shirt for anyone who has ever made the first honest decision of their life and refused to apologize for it. The llama does not demand working rights. He takes them.

Description

Outside his office window, May could not make up its mind between rain and sunshine. Inside, the difference between a beautiful day or a terrible one was six floors and a badge swipe. Somewhere around the fourth coffee, the international group chats fell quiet, which was how he knew the rest of the world had clocked out. They were all off for May Day, his country invented it and moved it to a barbecue in September. Others before him had gone on strike to protect him from exactly the life he was living, which made him either the system’s greatest achievement or its longest joke.

He spent his best years running the rat race before he grasped one truth: the fool always mistakes the cage for a career. The anger arrived with the fifth coffee and one correct observation: May Day belongs to April Fools. He closed the laptop, picked up his jacket, and left the building without telling anyone, which was either a resignation or the best April Fool joke he had ever pulled, one month late. The labor rights t-shirt for anyone who has ever walked out of a building without permission and made the first honest decision of their life. The llama does not demand working rights. He takes them.
